P.J. Tucker's Injury Status Heading Into Game 3

The veteran forward for the Miami Heat not named Udonis Haslem is dealing with a left knee contusion awaiting an MRI after leaving Game 2 prematurely. The former Buck left at 7:28 mark of the third quarter and did not return.

We at sicscore.com have reviewed video and did not see a play where a significant injury may have occurred. Going into the playoffs Tucker has been dealing with calf issue and before that, left knee problems which may be related to the current problems.

The hard-nosed forward has tough through both issues and we lean towards him suiting up in Boston for Game 3. Tucker will go into the contest with a SIC score of 78 meaning he might not be 100% healthy due to the lingering knee issue but should push through as he has with the calf injury.

In the playoffs, the grinder is averaging 8.2 points and 5.5 boards in 29 minutes of game time.
