Josh Hart Health, Injury Updates & History

Hart is questionable for Friday's game against the Nuggets with a back injury.

Josh Hart was working through a finger injury in July. Then he underwent a procedure on it. Very early in this preseason, he took a fall in a game in Abu Dhabi and experienced back spasms that kept him out the entirety of this year’s preseason. Hart’s next opportunity to play will come in the team's regular-season opener against Cleveland on Wednesday. The 30-year-old swingman was limited to individual drills in Thursday's practice, and his status will be worth monitoring ahead of Opening Night.

Listed as questionable with right knee soreness for Sunday's game in Boston that has seen him sidelined for the last two Knicks games, he did travel with the team to Boston so there is a chance he'll be available for the early tip-off and will be a game-time decision

Has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Bulls due to patellofemoral syndrome in his right knee, this will be Hart's first missed game of the season, he may be experience just minor pain in the knee, similar to that of long-distance runners and Hart is among the league leaders in minutes at 37.8 minutes per game

Listed as probable vs the Rockets for Monday's game, Hart is fresh off a triple-double vs the Lakers on Saturday so the listed knee injury doesn't appear to be concerning

He’s had a tremendous start to the season averaging 16ppg, 7pg and 3apg, but has now been listed as questionble for the past two games with right ankle impingement, he will need to be monitored but this injury is different from a sprain and could be a longer injury to heal

Left the May 17 game in the fourth quarter with abdominal soreness after playing 31 minutes. Likely to play the must-win Game 7 on Sunday.
