Will begin his rehab assignment in the coming days as he works his way back from a torn ligament in his throwing hand (right), out since April 19th expect Alvarez to need a few rehab games before suiting back up, will take time for him to regain his offensive form and his defense may struggle in his first few games back - surgery has a reliable recovery rate so we fully expect Alvarez to be in good shape as we approach the summer months
