Titans' Taylor Lewan Ready to Go in Second Season Since ACL Injury

Taylor Lewan - SIC Score 94

Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan from 2016 to 2018 went to three consecutive Pro Bowls. Since then, Lewan has struggled to stay on the field and be productive.

First, he was suspended the first four games of the 2019 season for violating the league’s policy against performance-enhancing drugs. Lewan then tore his ACL in his right knee just five games into the season the following year.

The 31 year old started Week 1 last season but struggled as he gave up two sacks and only played 86 percent of snaps. Overall, Lewan played in 13 games as he dealt with a right knee injury, a concussion and a back injury.

Lewan is now entering his second full season since the ACL injury. Our team of Pro Football Docs expect Lewan to be ready to go this season, giving him a 94 SIC Score.

The Docs do not have any injury concerns for the nine-year offensive lineman and did not anticipate any of his previous injuries from lingering.

Pro Football Network listed Lewan as the No. 32 offensive tackle for this season though the rankings do not include rookies. He is entering the fourth year of his five-year, $80 million contract.

Pro Football Focus named the Titans’ offensive line as one of the worst in the league.
