Chao - ProFootballDoc (@ProFootballDoc) September 20, 2022 According to the Pro Football Docs, Jackson appeared to suffer a potential cervical spinous process fracture – aka a clay-shoveler's fracture – which could heal before the end of the regular season without surgery. Most importantly, while gruesome, the injury carries no risk of associated spinal cord or head injuries. Jackson, a 2020 seventh-round pick, was elevated to a starting role because of Tre'Davious White's ACL recovery.
