Dak Prescott left the Cowboys' SNF loss with six minutes left in the fourth quarter after hitting his right hand on the helmet of an approaching Buccaneers' pass-rusher twice in a four-play span. Owner and general manager Jerry Jones said to reporters postgame that Prescott will undergo surgery for a right thumb fracture above the joint and miss several weeks. The 29-year-old said his fracture was “cleaner than it could have been” and that he will meet with doctors on Monday to decide when he will go under the knife.
