Matt Milano INJURY INSIGHTS

PLAYER INSIGHTS

Sep 15, 2025

Didn't participate in Monday's walk through practice due to a pectoral injury he suffered during the...

Jul 31, 2025

Recovered from a torn bicep injury in August 2024 and a season-ending leg injury in week 5 of the 2023 season, but still was a key contributor during the 2024 playoffs, he turns 31 next month but we expect him to return to form and could see him regain his Pro Bowl level

Jan 24, 2025

Will be a full participant in practice on Friday with the combination of hamstring and elbow injuries he's been managing, he may still carry a Questionable tag, but all signs indicate that he will suit up vs the Chiefs on Sunday

Dec 20, 2024

Has been dealing with two injuries to his biceps and groin and has been a limited participant in practice ahead of Sunday's game vs the Patriots, the groin injury saw him exit last week's game, but he's faced injuries this season and if he misses it will be his twelfth missed game of 2024

Aug 16, 2024

Matt Milano sustained a torn biceps in a warm up tackling drill on the morning of August 15th, the Buffalo Bills announced that he may be ready for a December return, our medical take is that he could return even sooner and this is good for his recovery from past leg injury a season ago. Buffalo’s best defender should be a full go by the time he returns in Late November or early December.

Jul 26, 2024

Matt Milano suffered a right tibia fracture in Week 5 and missed the rest of the 2023 season. He is likely the Bills' best defender when healthy but has not played a full season in his career. Milano was able to participate in a limited form during the Bills' June minicamp. We expect the linebacker to be fully effective when the season begins.

Oct 8, 2023

Fractured bone in his right leg along with potential significant knee injury in Week 5 loss to Jacksonville - likely to miss rest of season leaving Buffalo without Tre'Davious White and Milano for the rest of the season

Oct 8, 2023

Carted off with right leg in aircast after getting rolled up on - by video, worry for significant MCL sprain - unlikely to need surgery but will miss multiple weeks - went for X-rays but we expect them to be negative

Oct 8, 2023

Suffered a knee injury W5 vs Jacksonville
