Expected to sit W18 for rest vs the Seahawks on Sunday
Oct 23, 2024
After a week’s worth of full practices, Kupp is off the injury report and expected to play Thursday night vs. the Vikings, he had been dealing with a high ankle sprain sustained during Week 1
Oct 19, 2024
Looking at practice video, we do not believe he will play this week, he is very hesitant with cuts off his high ankle sprain, he could play, but if he did, he would be nowhere near 100%, it may be a couple more games until he can effectively play
Sep 24, 2024
Rams head coach Sean McVay has stated early in the week that Kupp will still be out for Week 4's matchup against the Chicago Bears while he continues to manage his high ankle sprain injury
Sep 19, 2024
The Rams are already down Puka Nacua, who went out on a PCL tear and placed on injured reserve that we felt was from early season, now Cooper Kupp exited the game, by video, it was an eversion ankle sprain, not the standard basketball sprain, this is a high ankle sprain variant, he’s going to miss several weeks, the hope is he can avoid injured reserve, the only good news is that we expect Cooper back before Puka Nacua for a midseason return
Sep 17, 2024
Per head coach Sean McVay, Kupp is expected to miss “an extended period of time” and is a candidate for injured reserve, we will continue to monitor for a more definitive timetable
Sep 15, 2024
Picked up by video a left eversion ankle sprain in the first half of the Rams, past issues to each ankle but we are optimistic he will not be placed on IR or miss multiple games, will track his progress but ankle issue is likely something he can manage in the weeks coming up
Aug 1, 2024
Cooper Kupp started last season on IR with a hamstring injury. Although his target rate declined with the emergence of Puka Nacua, he remained highly productive in 12 games, recording 59 catches for 737 yards and 5 touchdowns. Optimism remains that Kupp can continue to be a productive receiver alongside Nacua, though he may no longer be Matthew Stafford's primary target.
