WNBA Injury Report: Key Player Updates Week 6

Injuries are shaping the early landscape of the 2025 WNBA season, with several star players battling setbacks that could impact both team performance and playoff outlook.

This WNBA injury update breaks down the latest injury updates.

Stay informed with our expert injury analysis and projected availability heading into this week’s games.

Napheesa Collier -Minnesota Lynx

Collier left last Tuesday’s game vs the Aces early with a back injury and missed the next game vs the LA Sparks. She is currently day-to-day with no timetable to return. If Collier does not play this week, she could be in line to play in the Commissioner’s Cup Final vs the Indiana Fever on July 1.

Cameron Brink - Los Angeles Sparks

Brink has yet to make her season debut as she rehabs from a torn ACL sustained during her rookie season last June. While she is getting closer to returning, her return timeline remains uncertain, but the next chance for the 23-year-old to take the court will come Thursday against the Fever.

Dijonai Carrington -Dallas Wings

Carrington was initially listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Mystics due to a rib injury but was downgraded to out. She's now likely to miss a second game on Tuesday vs the Atlanta Dream. It's unclear when she'll be ready to suit up again.

Marina Mabrey - Connecticut Sun

Marina missed Sunday’s game with a hyperextended left knee sustained last Friday vs the Dallas Wings. She exited the game but returned in the second half. Mabrey's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday in Las Vegas.

Sabrina Ionescu - New York Liberty

Missed her first game on Sunday against the Storm. The rising star is having a career year with the Liberty and will be tough to replace. New York will likely turn to Marine Johannes, Rebekah Gardner and Jaylyn Sherrod to help shoulder the load in the backcourt.
