Weekend Update

Hailey Van Lith (Chicago Sky)

Is probably for Friday's game against Golden State. She had missed some time recently with an ankle injury, but the depleted Sky will be relieved to have someone in their backcourt back in the lineup.

Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings)
Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings

Ogunbowale will miss a second straight game with a right knee issue. Dallas is also dealing with a nagging back injury for Paige Bueckers, but she is likely to play on Friday against the Sparks.

Jacy Sheldon (Washington Mystics)

Ruled out with an ankle injury sustained in Wednesday's game against Golden State.

Cameron Brink (Los Angeles Sparks)

Sat out the second half of Tuesday's game with an ankle injury, but that may have been a precaution. She is questionable for Friday's game vs Dallas, but she has gone through practice this week leading up to it.

Angel Reese (Chicago Sky)

Is still without a timetable for return for her back injury. She has missed every game since the All-Star break.

Lexie Hull (Indiana Fever)

Exited Saturday’s game in the third quarter with an ankle injury, but she was able to return to the game. The question remains if the injury will linger when the Indiana Fever already are without any of their point guards with Caitlin Clark out indefinitely, Sydney Colson out for the rest of the year with a torn ACL and Aari McDonald missing the rest of the season as well, with a broken foot. The Fever play on Tuesday and Hull’s status will be closely monitored.

Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever)

Is still without a timetable for return from her latest groin injury, but per head coach Stephanie White, Clark has been doing endurance work and full court running, but is not yet practicing with the team.

Paige Bueckers (Dallas Wings)

Has been in and out of the lineup lately with a back issue. She missed Friday’s game but was able to play on Sunday with her usual rotation. Because of the inconsistent nature of her injury, she will be monitored in case there’s a chance she becomes a late scratch.

Jordin Canada (Atlanta Dream)

Canada was carried to the locker room after suffering an apparent injury during Sunday's game against the Mercury. The exact severity of Canada's injury isn't yet known, but her status for Wednesday's game against the Storm could be in jeopardy since she was unable to leave the court under her own power Sunday. If Canada misses additional time, Te-Hina Paopao and Maya Caldwell could see increased roles.

Brittney Griner (Atlanta Dream)

Griner is in jeopardy of missing her fourth consecutive game due to a neck injury. If the 34-year-old center is unable to suit up against Phoenix. This has been a lingering injury throughout the season for the veteran center.
