Seahawks' wide receiver Tyler Lockett returned to practice and is trending towards playing against the Jets two weeks after he suffered a broken left hand.
Lockett, SIC score 84, will likely have a buddy-taped splint if he returns to help stabilize the surgically-repaired fracture that is right below his index finger, according to the Pro Football Docs.
Head coach Pete Carroll said the team will need to wait and see how Lockett feels on Saturday, but also noted that “there was no indication of anything bothering him catching the ball” during practice.
The 30-year-old wide receiver has brought in 78 receptions for 964 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games and scored a touchdown in six straight games before his injury in Week 14.
The Jets are fifth in the NFL in passing defense and have allowed a league-low 13 touchdowns versus 12 interceptions.
