Russell Wilson Injury: QB's Mobility Will Be Hamstrung By Hamstring

Broncos' head coach Nathaniel Hackett said that embattled starting quarterback Russell Wilson is a game-time decision but was limited all week with a hamstring strain.

According to the Pro Football Docs, Wilson carries an SIC score of 72 and will likely play but with limited mobility against the Jets' surprisingly stout defense.

The 34-year-old said he suffered the hamstring injury on a failed scramble in the fourth quarter and, based on video analysis, the apparent injury likely took place on their final play of regulation.

In overtime, the Broncos had two three-and-out drives for a total of 12 yards and Wilson went 0-2.

Denver is last in the league in scoring at 15.2 points per game and have only once topped 20 points in a 32-23 loss to the Raiders in Week 4.

On the whole, the nine-time pro-bowler has 1,442 passing yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions on 58.6% completion, has rushed 21 times for 96 yards and one score, and has been sacked 20 times this season, the sixth-most among quarterbacks.

Denver's signal-caller recently underwent a PRP injection to address the shoulder strain he suffered in Week 4.

That ailment likely isn't much of an issue going forward for the noted deep-ball passer, according to the Pro Football Docs.

Despite his aggressive and dangerous playing style, Wilson played in 149 consecutive games and was mostly unscathed before suffering a right hand and middle finger injury last season.
