Chicago Sky star Rickea Jackson exited Sunday’s win over the Minnesota Lynx with a left knee injury and did not return.
Jackson went down with 5:24 remaining in the second quarter while driving to the basket. She appeared to awkwardly plant her left leg before crumpling to the court.
Jackson remained down for several minutes before leaving for the locker room and was later ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Pro Football Doc Medical Analysis
Based on video review, Pro Football Doc said Jackson appeared to suffer a torn ACL.
The noncontact mechanism, awkward plant and immediate reaction are all concerning signs for a significant knee injury. If imaging confirms an ACL tear, Jackson would be expected to miss the remainder of the season.

Sky coach Tyler Marsh said after the game that Jackson likely will undergo imaging on the knee but did not provide any further update.
The team will need MRI results to confirm the full extent of the injury.

Jackson’s injury is a major concern for Chicago. Through the first part of the season, Jackson was Chicago's leading scorer averaging 22.0 points per game.
Losing her for an extended period would be a significant blow to the Sky’s rotation, scoring and overall offensive production.
