Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley logged a full practice on Wednesday, all but guaranteeing he will start Saturday against the Browns.
Lamar Jackson will miss his second straight week with a PCL sprain in his left knee, fitting the initial projections of the Pro Football Docs.
Jackson could return for Week 16 against the Falcons, but it would not be surprising to see the team give him an extra week to get back to 100%.
Huntley should have no lingering head effects after clearing concussion protocol, but he appeared to suffer a mild right ankle sprain on the same tackle that knocked him out of the game.
The fact he logged a full practice is a great sign for his availability against the Browns, but he may not be fully mobile given the ankle injury.
In his two games replacing Jackson, he had 10 rushes for 41 yards and 9 rushes for 31 yards.
The third-year quarterback averaged 193 passing yards and 59.75 rushing yards in four starts for Jackson last season.
Undrafted quarterback Anthony Brown will serve as Huntley’s backup Saturday against Cleveland.
Outside of the quarterback position, the Ravens are down Rashod Bateman but have the other skill positions relatively healthy.
J.K. Dobbins returned last week, but did not look 100% on his ailing left knee.
The Ravens are 2.5-point underdogs in Cleveland on Saturday and the over/under is 37.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
