NFL Week 9 Betting: Top Pick using SIC Health Scores and Expert Insights from Steve Fezzik

In Partnership with Steve Fezzik - @FezzikSports on X

Famous sports bettor Steve Fezzik and injury analysis experts at SICscore.com are partnering throughout the season to provide deeper insights into how injuries and game dynamics affect betting outcomes. Through 8 weeks these picks are 4-4.

I like the over for the Buffalo-Miami total due to injuries on both defenses. Miami’s offense has struggled throughout the season, primarily due to their quarterbacks’ health issues. However, with their starter back in the lineup, I expect them to begin putting up more points. The team should see a resurgence in offensive production now that they’re closer to full strength.

On the other hand, Buffalo has been a juggernaut offensively all year. They’re likely to keep that momentum going on Sunday, especially against a Dolphins defense missing some key players. Miami’s top edge rushers and nickel-back cornerbacks are out, creating gaps in the lineup that Buffalo can exploit. Given the Bills’ firepower, they should have little trouble finding the end zone consistently.

Both offenses carry elite stars who are healthy, including Tyreek Hill, who should be fine to play despite his foot issue. With both defenses significantly impacted by injuries, we can expect a high-scoring AFC East affair. This matchup has the ingredients for a high total, and the over looks promising given the offensive capabilities of both teams.
