The highly anticipated Thursday Night Football matchup in NFL Week 4 features NFC East rivals as the Dallas Cowboys take on the New York Giants. The Cowboys, led by quarterback Dak Prescott, have dominated recent meetings, including a 40-0 rout last season. With Dallas seeking to rebound from a narrow loss in Week 3, all eyes will be on their explosive offense and dynamic defense. Meanwhile, the Giants, who are 1-13 in primetime games, aim to break their losing streak against Dallas and secure a crucial win.

Listed below are key injury insights for each team.

Dallas Cowboys - SIC Health Score 88.3

The Cowboys’ offense welcomed TE Jake Ferguson back from his MCL injury last week with a strong performance. Their Offensive Line has health issues at LT with Chuma Edoga starting the year on IR.

Defense is the big issue for the Cowboys, the main issue is the pass defense, with cornerback Trevon Diggs coming off an ACL tear and not playing at 100%. They will also be down DaRon Bland as he recovers from a stress fracture in left foot.

Dallas Cowboys Key Injury Insights

DaRon Bland - CB

Daron Bland experienced some discomfort in his foot towards the end of training camp and subsequent imaging revealed a stress fracture in his foot that will require surgery and have him out 6-8 weeks, missing at least the first four games of the regular season. This is a huge blow to the Cowboys defense as Bland led the league with nine interceptions a year ago.

Trevon Diggs - CB

Trevon Diggs tore his ACL in practice before Week 3 in 2023 in a non-contact one-on-one drill. Diggs plays a crucial role in the Cowboys' defense, and there is optimism that he can return to his All-Pro form from 2021 when he led the league in interceptions. Diggs had a DNP last week due to a foot concern but played Sunday logging six tackles.

Chuma Edoga - LT

Edoga is dealing with a toe injury and has been placed on the injured reserve list. He will miss at least four games.

New York Giants - SIC Health Score 89.6

The main concern for the Giants going into this game is the depth a cornerback, three of their top Cornerbacks are hampered going into the game (Nick McCloud, Dru Phillips and Adoree Jackson), two are playing with calf issues which will be difficult for them to play at a high level if at all. As shown of the Field View and SIC Health Score matchup, their pass defense health issues will be difficult to overcome.

New York Giants Key Injury Insights

Nick McCloud - CB

Suffered a knee injury in Week 1, then missed the next two games. He was limited in practice on Tuesday.

Brian Burns - LB

Last week popped up on final injury report with a groin issue, he played after being listed as questionable, and recorded one sack, It is hard to rush passer with soft tissue muscle injury so he will be one to monitor.
