Jayson Tatum (SF): Underwent a successful surgery the day after rupturing his Achilles in his right ankle, he is expected to make a full recovery but there is no timetable for his return, average recovery for a ruptured Achilles can be anywhere from 8-12 months, most of, if not all of next season is jeopardy.
Jaylen Brown (F): Underwent a successful right knee arthroscopic debridement procedure after playing with a partially torn right meniscus in the final weeks of the season. He is expected to be available for training camp and start the 2025-26 season.
Darius Garland (PG): Underwent surgery on his left great toe after suffering a sprain at the end of the regular season. After missing four games due to the injury in the playoffs, his final three games were hampered by the injury.
Kyrie Irving (G): Tore his left ACL on March 3 and had surgery on March 26. While his recovery is going well so far, he’s expected to miss the start of the 2025-26 NBA season. There’s no guarantee he’ll return by January 2026, as he still has several rehab milestones to meet. A clearer return date should be known around training camp in the fall, depending on his progress resuming basketball activities
Moses Moody (SG): Had surgery to repair a torn UCL in his right thumb. He is expected to be ready by training camp.
Brandin Podziemski (G): Had successful left wrist debridement surgery and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
Dorian Finney-Smith (F): Underwent surgery on his left ankle to clean up a lingering injury that he had been playing through for multiple seasons, expected to participate in training camp for the 2025-26 season.
Zach Edey (C): Underwent ankle stabilization surgery following a re-sprain during an offseason workout. Expected to miss the start of the 2025–26 season, with a projected return in 4–6 months.
Damian Lillard (G): Underwent surgery on May 2 to repair the left Achilles tendon he tore in the Game 4 first-round playoff loss to the Indiana Pacers, depending on his progress through recovery, he potentially could miss most, if not all, of next season.
De’Aaron Fox (PG): Underwent season-ending surgery to repair tendon damage in his left pinkie finger. The procedure will sideline him through offseason programs; return expected in training camp.
