James suffered a left elbow injury during the fourth quarter and was unable to finish Thursday's game against Denver, he was able to check back in with 2:05 remaining, but then wasn't on the court for the final few possessions. The Lakers also ruled out LeBron for Friday's game vs. the Pacers.

Jayson Tatum - Boston Celtics

Aaron Gordon - Denver Nuggets

Gordon is targeting a return from a hamstring injury Friday against the Knicks, Gordon has been sidelined for Denver's last 16 games after aggravating a right hamstring injury Jan. 23


Donovan Mitchell - Cleveland Cavaliers

Mitchell missed his fourth straight game on Tuesday due to a groin strain. Head coach Kenny Atkinson said his recovery is “trending better” and added that Mitchell would have played against the Pistons if it were a playoff game.

Cooper Flagg - Dallas Mavericks

Flagg returned to the Dallas Mavericks’ lineup Thursday night after missing eight games with a left midfoot sprain and finished with 18 points and six assists in a 115-114 loss to the Orlando Magic.

Steph Curry - Golden State Warriors

Curry will miss at least five more games due to a lingering right knee issue, the Warriors announced Sunday. He will be re-evaluated in 10 days and has already missed 10 games, during which time Golden State went 4-6.

Joel Embiid - Philadelphia 76ers

Embiid will miss at least three games with a strained right oblique, the 76ers announced Saturday. An MRI confirmed the injury after he was hurt in Thursday’s win over Miami. Embiid already sat out Sunday’s loss in Boston and will be re-evaluated following Philadelphia’s back-to-back home games Tuesday and Wednesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee Bucks

After missing the past 15 games due to a right calf strain, Giannis Antetokounmpo returned for the Bucks on Monday against the Celtics. He has missed 29 games this season with a recurring right calf injury.

Isaiah Hartenstein - Oklahoma City Thunder

Hartenstein was ruled out Wednesday night against the Knicks due to left calf tightness during the team’s 103-100 win at Madison Square Garden. He has already missed two stretches this season with a left calf injury, including a 16-game absence following a recurrence in late December.

Trae Young - Washington Wizards

Young made his Wizards debut on Thursday. He played 19 minutes scoring 12 points.
