With the calendar having flipped to February, the NBA season has reached the point where urgency begins to replace experimentation. As the Super Bowl approaches and the February 5 trade deadline looms, teams are no longer managing injuries in a vacuum. They’re weighing health, availability, and roster direction in real time. This is the stretch where durability and depth carry as much weight as star power, and where availability, not just talent, increasingly separates true contenders from teams forced to recalibrate.

Luka Doncic - Los Angeles Lakers

Exited Thursday's game with what the team labeled 'left leg soreness'. During a play in the first half, he visibly grabbed at his left hamstring and appeared upset as he left the court. However, there is some initial optimism that Doncic is not dealing with a major issue with his left hamstring. He was set to undergo imaging on Friday, and another update will likely be coming from the Lakers very shortly.

Jeremy Sochan - San Antonio Spurs

Listed as questionable for Saturday's game. Sochan has been dealing with a left quadriceps strain since late January. He has a chance to be available Saturday, though his spot in the rotation was shrinking prior to his current injury, so what his role would look upon his return remains to be seen.

DeAaron Fox - San Antonio Spurs

Fox is dealing with back soreness, clouding his status for Saturday. The Spurs should have a better idea on how the star guard is feeling depending on his ability to make it through Saturday's pregame warmups

Jalen Williams - Oklahoma City Thunder

Saturday will mark the ninth consecutive game that Williams will miss while recovering from a right hamstring strain. His next chance to play is Monday against the Lakers, but a timeline for the fourth-year pro's return has yet to be established.

Austin Reaves - Los Angeles Lakers

Questionable for Tuesday’s game vs Brooklyn. Reaves hasn't played since Dec. 25 after straining his left calf, but has been questionable for the last few games on a Lakers road trip. He’s been a game-time decision on this trip, but yet to play.

Steph Curry - Golden State Warriors

Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry underwent an MRI on his right knee and is currently day-to-day, as announced by the Warriors on Saturday. According to Mayo Clinic, the MRI revealed patellofemoral syndrome, commonly known as runner’s knee. The issue is not considered to be serious. However, Curry’s status for Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers remains uncertain.

Devin Booker - Phoenix Suns

While continuing to recover from a right ankle sprain, Booker missed all five games of the Suns' homestand that concluded Sunday. Suns head coach Jordan Ott said prior to Sunday's game vs the Clippers that Booker is "making tremendous progress" and is "trending in a good spot," though the guard is uncertain to be available for the team's next game Tuesday in Portland.

Scotty Pippen, Jr. - Memphis Grizzlies

Pippen has yet to debut this season due to left big toe surgery, which he underwent in October. Pippen recently joined the Grizzlies' G League affiliate for practice, suggesting he may be approaching his return. His next chance to suit up comes Wednesday against the Kings.

Alex Caruso - Oklahoma City Thunder

Has missed the last six games with an adductor strain. Caruso sustained the injury on January 19th and was thought he would only miss one game, but if he doesn’t play Tuesday will miss his seventh game with the injury.
