Update: Harris was ruled out with a foot injury, but the injury mechanism appeared to be to his left ankle. Our Pro Football Docs still have concern for a mild left high ankle sprain.
Steelers running back Najee Harris exited with a left ankle injury after he was tackled in the fourth quarter against the Bengals.
By video, the Pro Football Docs have worry for a mild high ankle sprain for the second-year back.
If confirmed, Harris will likely miss multiple weeks and will definitely be out Week 2 against the Patriots.
Harris had 10 carries for 23 yards plus 2 catches for 3 yards before exiting. He suffered a Lisfranc sprain early in training camp, but returned for limited action in Week 3 of the preseason.
Benny Snell will likely see more snaps in Harris' absence, as will Jaylen Warren.
