Kodai Senga - New York Mets

Senga was placed on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday with lumbar spinal inflammation, the Mets announced. An MRI showed inflammation between the L4 and L5 vertebrae in Kodai Senga’s lower back, which is also causing right hip discomfort. He will be shut down from throwing for seven to 10 days before the Mets reassess him.

Beeter was placed on the injured list Sunday, retroactive to Thursday, with right forearm soreness. Manager Blake Butera said Beeter felt the issue while warming up earlier in the week and will undergo imaging.
