American League (AL)

Baltimore Orioles

  • Adley Rutschman: Rutschman's left oblique strain is considered mild, but the catcher is still expected to remain on the 10-day injured list through the All-Star break

  • Jordan Westburg: Day-to-day (left hand discomfort); he left the June 27 game after recently missing three games due to a sprained left index finger.

  • Zach Eflin: Exited his June 28 start with lower back tightness after throwing just 28 pitches.

  • Tyler O'Neill: Rehab restarted June 22 (left shoulder impingement).

  • Maverick Handley: Left game June 22 after collision at the plate.

Boston Red Sox

  • Hunter Dobbins: 15-day IL (right elbow strain) on June 22.

  • Kutter Crawford: Will undergo season-ending surgery on his right wrist after an off-field accident, which Red Sox manager Alex Cora said was not due to anything irresponsible.

  • Jordan Hicks: Rehab assignment started June 22 (toe inflammation).

  • Tanner Houck: Next rehab start June 24 (right flexor strain).

  • Alex Bregman: Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Wednesday that it "looks like" Bregman (quadriceps) won't return until after the All-Star break.

Chicago White Sox

  • Jonathan Cannon: Rehab starts June 24 (lower back strain).

  • Mike Tauchman: Missed games through June 22 (groin soreness).

Cleveland Guardians

  • Jose Ramirez: Returned to the starting lineup on June 28, after being hit-by-pitch on his right forearm in the June 26 game against the Blue Jays.

Houston Astros

  • Jeremy Pena: Hit by a pitch in the ribs on June 27 against the Cubs, x-rays were negative and is considered day-to-day.

  • Yordan Alvarez: Progressing in rehab in the batting cage as he recovers from a right-hand fracture.

Kansas City Royals

  • Michael Massey: Rehab set for June 24–25 (left ankle sprain).

  • Cole Ragans: Shut down until early July (left rotator cuff strain).

Los Angeles Angels

  • Mike Trout: Dealing with soreness in his left knee, limiting his running and return to the outfield, continuing to play DH.

  • Zach Neto: An MRI revealed no structural damage to Zach Neto’s surgically repaired right shoulder, and the Angels shortstop is considered day-to-day after a head-first slide into second base Tuesday night. Did not start June 27 however had one AB as a PH.

  • Jorge

    Soler: Dealing with low back inflammation, is yet to resume on-field activities.

  • Yoan

    Moncada: Recovering from right knee inflammation, he is participating in light baseball activity.

New York Yankees

  • Luis Gil: Threw live BP June 21 (lat strain) and is scheduled for live batting practice during the June 30-July 6 Road trip.

  • Ryan Yarbrough: 15-day IL (right oblique strain), manager Aaron Boone described the strain as low grade.

  • Marcus Stroman: Rehab start scheduled for June 24 (left knee inflammation).

Texas Rangers

  • Wyatt Langford: Added to the 10-day injured list on June 27 due to a mild left oblique strain, likely to need longer than the minimum stay to fully heal.

  • Nathan Eovaldi: Made his return to the Rangers June 27, throwing three innings (triceps fatigue).

  • Jon Gray: Threw bullpen session June 21 (wrist fracture).

  • Jake Burger: 10-day IL (left oblique strain) on June 21.

  • Cody Bradford: Will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the UCL in his left elbow.

Toronto Blue Jays

  • Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Was a late addition to the starting lineup on June 27 after suffering a right forearm contusion when hit-by-pitch on June 26.

  • Daulton Varsho: Running bases, rehab games likely this week (hamstring).

  • Max Scherzer: Returns June 25 (right thumb inflammation).

  • Bowden Francis: Shut down at least through June 22 (shoulder impingement).

National League (NL)

Arizona Diamondbacks

  • Corbin Carroll: suffered a chip fracture to his left wrist when hit-by-pitch on June 18, he will be placed on the 10-day IL and will not return until after the All-star break.

  • Josh Naylor: Removed from the June 27 game after three at-bats due to neck stiffness after three, likely to be a precautionary short-term absence.

  • Ildemaro Vargas exited Tuesday's game with a fractured fifth metatarsal after a hit by pitch.

Atlanta Braves

  • Chris Sale: 15-day IL (fractured left rib cage); no return timeline yet, however it is unlikely to be until late in the season.

Cincinnati Reds

  • Hunter Greene: Greene (groin/back) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session when the Reds are in Boston early next week

Chicago Cubs

  • Shota Imanaga: Ready for next MLB start after dominant rehab, returned to the Cubs on June 26.

  • Matthew Boyd: On schedule after bruised shoulder June 20, scheduled to start June 25 after recovering from a bruised left shoulder.

Colorado Rockies

  • Thairo Estrada: Out through June 22 (hand contusion).

  • Kyle Freeland: Expects June 27 return (back stiffness).

  • Ezequiel Tovar: No timeline (left oblique strain).

Los Angeles Dodgers

  • Tyler Glasnow: Rehab assignment began June 22 (shoulder inflammation), threw 66 pitches and likely to return to the Dodgers around the All-Star break.

  • Blake Snell: Throwing bullpens but not close to facing hitters.

Milwaukee Brewers

  • Brandon Woodruff: Will likely have one more sim game before returning to the Brewers rotation.

New York Mets

  • Griffin Canning: Exited his June 26 start after suffering a likely Achilles tear, if confirmed it will cause him to miss the remainder of the season and early part of next season.

  • Mark Vientos: Rehab ongoing; expected return this week (hamstring).

  • Frankie Montas: Slated to return June 24 (lat strain).

  • Sean Manaea: Experienced elbow discomfort during his rehab and was diagnosed with a loose body in his left elbow. He received a cortisone shot on June 24 and he will have a bullpen session on June 29 to determine next steps.

Philadelphia Phillies

  • Bryce Harper: Participating in full batting practice (right wrist inflammation); could be activated from the IL early next week.

  • Aaron Nola: Playing catch (ankle sprain, rib fracture).

San Diego Padres

  • Yu Darvish: Sim game June 20; threw 40 pitches (shoulder inflammation).

  • Ryan Bergert exited Tuesday's game after getting hit by a line drive, x-rays on his right forearm were negative however placed on 15-day IL.

  • Xander Bogaerts: late scratch from Wednesday's lineup with a shoulder injury, returned June 27.

St. Louis Cardinals

  • Jordan Walker: placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to Monday with appendicitis, the team announced Wednesday.

San Francisco Giants

  • Matt Chapman: Swinging in cage with one hand (right hand inflammation).

Washington Nationals

  • Keibert Ruiz was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday after being hit in the head by a foul ball off teammate Josh Bell’s bat while sitting in the dugout the day before.
