Francisco Lindor - New York Mets

Lindor made his spring debut Sunday and went 1 for 3 with a run scored in his first game back since Feb. 11 hamate surgery on his left hand. Lindor said he felt like himself and finished healthy, a positive sign as he works to be ready for the Mets’ March 26 opener.

José Ramírez- Cleveland Guardians

Ramírez left Sunday’s spring training game against the Athletics with a sore left shoulder after jamming it on a slide into third base. Ramirez returned to the lineup on Thursday.

Seiya Suzuki - Chicago Cubs

Suzuki has been diagnosed with a minor ligament sprain in his right knee, and manager Craig Counsell said he will be evaluated this week before the Cubs decide whether to place the Japanese outfielder on the injured list.

J.P. Crawford - Seattle Mariners

Crawford’s status for the start of the season remains uncertain as he continues to deal with a shoulder issue. Mariners manager Dan Wilson said Wednesday that Crawford recently saw Dr. Keith Meister and received a cortisone injection, leaving his availability for Opening Day still in question.

Jose Berríos - Toronto Blue Jays

Berríos will not be ready for the start of the season after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right elbow. Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Wednesday that Berríos recently met with Dr. Keith Meister after initially being diagnosed with elbow inflammation.

Merrill Kelly - Arizona Diamondbacks

Kelly made his spring debut after a February setback with a back injury, but he said starting on Opening Day is no longer a realistic option. Kelly called the situation disappointing, especially with the possibility of missing Arizona’s opener in Los Angeles.

Blake Snell - Los Angeles Dodgers

Snell threw his first bullpen session of spring on Thursday as he begins ramping back up from lingering left shoulder discomfort. The low-intensity session was a positive step, but Snell still appears at least six weeks away from being ready for game action, making an April return unlikely.

Hayden Birdsong - San Francisco Giants

Birdsong will undergo Tommy John surgery and miss the 2026 season after experiencing throwing elbow soreness following a Cactus League outing on March 10.

Mike Vasil - Chicago White Sox

Vasil exited his start Saturday against the Dodgers with right elbow soreness and will undergo further evaluation, according to the White Sox.

Joey Wentz - Atlanta Braves

Wentz suffered a torn right ACL on Sunday after colliding with Rays infielder Taylor Walls while covering first base. Wentz had been in line to open the season as a sixth starter or bullpen swingman before the injury ended that opportunity.
