Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers Injury Report and Odds

Los Angeles Rams (2-1) - SIC score 88

The defending Super Bowl champions sit atop the NFC West through three weeks, but have a few injury issues on both sides of the ball.

Heading into this Monday night matchup, the No. 2 and 3 corners will miss time with soft-tissue injuries. Troy Hill is on IR with a groin injury and David Long Jr. did not practice all week with a groin injury.

That gives them a pass defense score of 88.8, but they still have an advantage over the 49ers pass offense score of 81.2.

On offense, Los Angeles is down right guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr., who suffered a season-ending fracture in Week 3.

Starting left guard David Edwards will miss Monday’s matchup with an illness and Brian Allen has been ruled out for a third straight week after undergoing a knee scope.

Slot corner Van Jefferson is also out after undergoing a knee scope late in the preseason.

Their run offense SIC score is 82 and their pass offense SIC score is 86.9.

San Francisco 49ers (1-2) - SIC score 83.5

The 49ers have extensive injury issues on both sides of the ball, but the single biggest loss is Trent Williams.

Williams suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 3 against the Broncos and will miss at least this week.

Rookie quarterback Trey Lance is obviously done for the year after his ankle fracture, but the 49ers had a contingency plan in Jimmy Garoppolo, who was essentially untradeable after his offseason shoulder surgery.

Starting running back Elijah Mitchell is on IR with an MCL sprain, plus rookie depth running back Tyrion Davis-Price has a high ankle sprain.

Jeff Wilson Jr., Jordan Mason and Marlon Mack are the only healthy running backs remaining on the roster.

On defense, starting defensive tackles Arik Armstead (foot) and Javon Kinlaw (knee) are questionable to play.

Those would be two big losses for San Francisco and would be a big advantage for the Rams running game. Other defensive losses include outside linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair and free safety Jimmie Ward.

Rams vs. 49ers Week 4 Odds

The 49ers are favored by 1.5 points at home and the over/under is 42.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Los Angeles is -135 to win the NFC West, while the 49ers are +185.
