Leonard Fournette Injury: Will Hip Pointer Keep RB Out vs Browns?

The Buccaneers head into a much-needed bye week but it remains to be seen if veteran running back Leonard Fournette will be available in Week 12.

Fournette suffered a hip pointer on a seven-yard rush in the third quarter, his last attempt of the Buccaneers' win over the Seahawls.

Head coach Todd Bowles said that it's “too early to tell” if the 27-year-old will be ready to play but Adam Schefter reported that Fournette is likely to be ready.

The injury came only four plays before the running back threw an interception to Tom Brady on an attempted trick play.

Even if Fournette is healthy for their contest against the Browns, rookie Rachaad White has a strong case to start once again.

White rushed for a career-high 105 yards on 22 carries, the most by a Bucs back since Fournette gained 127 in Week 1 and only the second game that Tampa Bay has rushed for more than 75 yards.
