Lamar Jackson Injury: Ravens Likely To Sit MVP QB Until Playoffs

Dynamic Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was ruled out against the Steelers and will miss his fourth straight game with a PCL sprain.
The Pro Football Docs expect that Baltimore will rest Jackson through the rest of the regular season in an effort to allow him to fully recover his singular open-field talent ahead of the playoffs.
The 25-year-old suffered a left PCL sprain when he was sacked from behind in Week 13 and was initially given a 2-to-3 week recovery timeline.
Jackson has missed 12 consecutive practices and reportedly had his timeline extended to 4-to-6 weeks, which would line up with a return in the first round of the playoffs.
Baltimore, 10-5, is in line for the No. 5 seed in the AFC and have won two of three games with Tyler Huntley under center, including a 16-14 win over the Steelers two weeks ago.
