Key NBA Injuries in November - Mavericks Luka Doncic to Miss Time Due to Wrist Injury

NBA

Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks) -

The Mavericks' star player will miss at least one week after sustaining a wrist injury. He will be re-evaluated at that time. The player began feeling pain in his wrist during Tuesday's game against the Pelicans. Additionally, he has been nursing a lingering knee injury, which could benefit from the rest during his time off for the wrist injury.

Victor Wembanyama (San Antonio Spurs) -

The young superstar has missed games due to a bothersome knee injury that has kept him out since last Saturday. Wembanyama missed the Spurs NBA Cup win over OKC on Tuesday the 19th and a Thursday win over the Jazz. Likely not a long term issue but with it so early in the season likley being cautious with their budding forward.

Isaac Okoro (Cleveland Cavaliers) -

The Cavaliers wing defender experienced is nursing an ankle sprain for the 16-1 Cavs causing has been ruled out of the last two matches including Tuesday's NBA Cup match with the Boston Celtics. Okoro has seen the most minutes for the Cavs and if he misses time it could open up playing time for Ty Jerome

Aaron Gordon (Denver Nuggets) -

The Denver Nuggets two-way star will likely miss multiple weeks with a right calf strain he aggravated early November. Gordon was having a strong start to the season averaging 17.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 3.5 apg and will be sorely missed as the Nuggets are also playing without superstar Nikola Jokic due to personal reasons.

Jose Alvarado (New Orleans Pelicans) -

The Pelicans have had a multitude of injuries to start the season and now their bench has taken a hit with Alvarado set to miss at least three more weeks from the time he’s already missed. The guard sustained a left hamstring strain which given his playing style would need to be completely healed in order for him to be effective. Expect at least a month long absence for the guard.
