Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans) -
Zion's hamstring issues may have taken a turn for the worse in recent days as the team has ruled him out indefinitely with a left hamstring strain, at this time there is no timetable for his recovery, expect an extended absence
Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies) -
In an early season game vs the Lakers on Nov. 6, Morant sustained a hip injury on a drive to the basket, initially diagnosed with extreme right hip flexion, further exams revealed a posterior hip subluxation (without dislocation) and multiple associated Grade 1 pelvic muscle strains, right now is considered week-to-week but the Grizzlies are expected to take a cautious approach with his recovery
Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers) -
Davis missed one game this season with what was reported as a bruised left heel. The issue has been described as plantar fasciitis which has been a lingering issue for Davis. The Lakers forward exited Sunday's game with a left eye injury after he was poked during a block attempt, despite his reputation, Davis has been relatively healthy the last two seasons and neither injury appears to be serious but he will continue to be monitored
Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns) -
During 11/8 game vs the Mavericks, Durant sustained a left calf strain, it may have happened during the game and he played throughout, but he will be out for two weeks and re-evaluated at that time, it should be noted this isn’t the same leg he suffered a ruptured Achilles on, but that injury did begin as a classified calf strain so something to be watchful for.
Chet Holmgren (Oklahoma City Thunder) -
Landed hard on his right hip on Sunday and it looked pretty bad, and he needed assistance to the locker room, it was in fact pretty bad, he sustained a right iliac hip fracture when he fell on that block attempt, a return to play protocol will be established in 8-10 weeks, but no definitive timetable or information other than that at this time
Ausar Thompson (Detroit Pistons) -
Has been cleared to play by the NBA Fitness-To-Play panel, he can begin his ramp-up process to return to the court, which would include full-contact practices, the team hopes he can make his season debut in the near future
