Keenan Allen Injury: WR Trending Towards Limited Week 3 Return

Chargers' wide receiver Keenan Allen returned to practice on Wednesday and is “day-to-day” as he works through a hamstring strain, according to head coach Brandon Staley.
Based on his practice progression Allen is on the track to playing in Week 3, according to the Pro Football Docs, although he will likely do so on a limited snap count.
Allen has an SIC score of 70 that should go up significantly after another week of recovery for his Sept. 11 hamstring strain.
For this week, however, he will still be below full effectiveness against the Jaguars' questionable passing defense.
In his absence last week, Mike Williams brought in eight of 10 targets for 112 yards and a highlight one-handed touchdown snag, marking his seventh 100-yard game in 32 with Justin Herbert.
Allen was pushing to play in the Amazon TNF premiere against the Chiefs, but the quick turnaround wasn't working in his favor.
In five career games against the Jaguars, the 30-year-old has 32 receptions for 432 yards, notching 14.31 yards per catch and over 91 yards per game without scoring.
