Kadarius Toney Injury: Chiefs WR Picks Up Hamstring Injury in First Half

The Chiefs ruled explosive wide receiver Kadarius Toney questionable to return because of a hamstring injury.

The newly-acquired Kansas City weapon ran a downfield route on a second down play with 2:56 left in the second quarter and hasn't returned.

There's no such thing as a one-week hamstring injury and Toney will likely miss multiple weeks.

Toney suffered a right hamstring strain during the preseason and aggravated the injury in Week 2 and he suffered a subsequent left hamstring strain in early October during his extensive rehab.

The Chiefs face the Rams in Week 12, then head to Cincinnati for an NFC Conference Championship rematch in Week 13.

The 23-year-old had season highs with five receptions for 57 yards and one score in Week 10 without Mecole Hardman and Juju Smith-Schuster, but had zero catches on one target before the injury tonight.
