Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase left Tuesday's practice early after suffering an apparent left knee injury, but the star receiver provided an encouraging update afterward.
Chase told ESPN 1530 that he's "good" and described the injury as a "little hyperextension," adding that he could have continued practicing if needed.
Chase was able to walk off the field under his own power and never went to the locker room. He was later seen walking around the practice field with a limp and talking with teammates.
Pro Football Doc Initially Concerned About Chase's Knee
Before Chase provided his update, Pro Football Doc expressed concern after reviewing video of the non-contact injury.
"Scary non-contact left knee injury video," Pro Football Doc said. "I know he walked around after but... Not gonna rest easy until ACL ruled out. Hopefully just bone bruise & LCL mild sprain."
Chase's comments are encouraging, but there has still been no official diagnosis from the Bengals confirming the extent of the injury.
