Malik Willis - Shoulder

Willis dealt with a right-throwing shoulder injury late in the 2025 season that was initially suffered in Week 16 against the Chicago Bears and aggravated the following week against the Baltimore Ravens. The injury, along with a hamstring issue, was treated without surgery and affected his practice availability and playoff status. Willis has since fully recovered and is participating without limitations during Dolphins OTAs, where he has taken the majority of first-team reps after signing with Miami this offseason from the Packers.

De'Von Achane - Shoulder

Achane is recovering from shoulder surgery/cleanup performed during the offseason and had a limited role during OTAs and mandatory minicamp. The Dolphins running back participated in individual drills and walk-throughs but did not take part in full team periods as the team continues to manage his recovery.

The outlook remains positive, with Achane expected to be ready for training camp following a gradual ramp-up. Miami appears to be taking a cautious approach with one of its most explosive offensive players, and there have been no reports of setbacks in his recovery.

Austin Jackson - Toe

Jackson agreed to a restructured contract this offseason as he continues working through an extensive injury history. The Miami Dolphins also selected offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor with the 12th overall pick in the draft, and Proctor is expected to begin training camp at guard.

Storm Duck - Knee

Duck continues to recover from the season-ending knee injury that ended his 2025 campaign, in addition to previously dealing with an ankle issue. The Dolphins cornerback was limited throughout OTAs and mandatory minicamp as he continued his rehabilitation.

While he is making progress, Duck's status for the start of training camp remains unclear. Miami appears to be taking a cautious approach with his recovery, though the fact that he was able to participate in portions of the offseason program is an encouraging sign as he works his way back.

Chop Robinson - Concussion

Robinson is expected to take on a significantly larger role in Miami’s pass rush entering the 2026 season after the Dolphins released Bradley Chubb. The former first-round pick appeared in 15 games last season, missing Week 17 while in concussion protocol, but enters minicamp healthy.

Juju Brents - Foot

Brents enters the 2026 season healthy after suffering a right foot injury in Week 11 last season. The injury marked his second significant lower-body injury in recent years following a season-ending knee injury in 2024. The former Indianapolis Colts cornerback is expected to compete for a starting or major rotational role in head coach Jeff Hafley’s defense.
