New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a left ankle injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Bears.
By video, the fourth-year quarterback appeared to suffer a mild left high-ankle sprain when he was sacked and had his left leg landed on.
The injury appeared similar to the play that knocked out Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, but the Giants quarterback's ankle sprain is less severe.
Given Daniel Jones' playing style, he is unlikely to play next week when the Giants face the Packers in London.
High-ankle sprains notoriously increase in swelling overnight and can lead to a multi-week absence.
Tyrod Taylor entered at quarterback for Daniel Jones and threw an interception with under 14 minutes in the fourth quarter.
