5 Free Consensus Injury-Based Picks For Week 1

For three season’s the publicly documented ProFootballDoc five weekly picks record of 59% and +45 units ATS lived elsewhere. Now it is back home where it belongs. This is one of our best features and it is free. To get this info earlier and also prop plays and exotics, sign up here.

By using the health advantages from Sports Injury Central field views, last year this feature was 51-15-4 (+16 against the spread) in our five weekly regular season picks mimicking the Circa and Westgate Superbook contests. This matches our three-year documented record. With that track record let’s continue the winning streak.

One win is already in the books with the Detroit +5.5 pick. That was placed and written about ahead of the line movement as we anticipated the Travis Kelce absence.

Here are the other four to complete the week.

Look for an entertaining action-packed kickoff to the NFL season. Follow up each week or follow us on Twitter @SICscore for our picks of the week ATS as we plan to continue our winning ways for a fourth straight season.

JAX -4.5 @ IND

Exciting as Anthony Richardson may be, he is still a rookie with limited offensive weapons against a mostly healthy Jaguars defense. The Colts may be down to their #3 running back, lack depth at WR and have some OL issues. Defensvie, Shaq Leonard is back but he does not seem to be close to the sideline to sideline defender he once was. The SIC algorithm relying on injuries has Jacksonville as the easy winner on the road.

AZ @ WAS –7

Arizona is missing or limited at the #1 QB, WR and TE spots. Add the loss of DeAndre Hopkins and that is the top four offensive weapons and they start a QB that is just recently acquired. Washington will be missing Chase Young, but Terry McLaurin will play in limited fashion. This game has the largest team health differential of the week at 13.4

LVR +3.5 @ DEN

Getting points as the double digit SIC score team health advantage is a wining formula. Look for the Raiders to spoil Sean Payton’s debut. The Broncos have RB, WR and OL injury issues as shown above and also missing two defensive starters. Other than the strange situation with Chandler Jones, Las Vegas has all its starters including Josh Jacobs back in the fold.

MIA @ LAC -3

A healthy Chargers squad hosting a Miami team with injuries at RB, OL and CB lead to another double-digit health advantage. Newly extended QB Justin Herbert has all of his starting offense around him, something he didn’t have all of last year.
