NFC East heavyweights with identical records (7-3) will spar on Thanksgiving in what should be a fantastic matchup full of injury mismatches and storylines. The Cowboys and Giants will face off for just the second time on Turkey day with the previous matchup held in 1992 (Cowboys prevailed 30-3).
The Giants will be looking to change the tide in the series with the Cowboys winning 10 of the last 11 contests and will need to do so with a massive injury disadvantage on pass defense.
America’s team will play on Thanksgiving with numerous injury question marks on defense but one major offensive one named Ezekiel Elliott. The Ohio State alum has nursed a knee issue for the last month but is off the injury report heading into Thursday.
In his first game back Elliott rushed 15 times for 42 yards which counts to a low 2.8 yards per carry. He will be another week heather and should eat at more of Pollards carries with Pollard being much more dominate in the pass game.
On defense, the big concern is the overall healthy of elite defender Micah Parsons. The Cowboy edge rusher was listed as questionable with ankle and knee issues, but will play against the NFC East foe.
By video, Parsons appeared to suffer a mild MCL sprain in last week's dominant win over the Vikings. He returned late in the game with the score well out of hand, which is a great sign he will be ready to go against New York.
DeMarcus Lawrence was also questionable with a foot issue, but will be active.
The Giants lost 31-18 to the Lions last Sunday and lost several key pieces due to injury.
No. 1 cornerback Adoree' Jackson is out with an MCL sprain he suffered on a punt return and rookie wideout Wan'Dale Robinson suffered a torn ACL.
Rookie right tackle Evan Neal is still recovering from his MCL sprain and has already been ruled out of the contest.
His backup Tyre Phillips is questionable with a neck injury he picked up last week. If he can't go, Matt Peart would likely be called on to fill in.
Wide receiver Richie James Jr. is also questionable with a knee injury. If he doesn't suit up, the Giants will be left with Darious Slayton, Kenny Golladay, David Sills and Isaiah Hodgins as the remaining healthy wideouts.
The Cowboys are favored by 10.5 points at home and the over/under is 45.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Dak Prescott O245.5 Passing Yards
The Giants carry injuries to their top three CBs meaning Prescott should have a field day on Turkey day as he is fully capable of taking advantage of the injury mismatch. Expect Lamb and Co to feast against a porous, injury riddled Giants secondary.
