Zion Williamson Health, Injury Updates & History

Will miss his fourth straight game on Friday, dealing with a back issue.

Made a successful return from a hamstring strain on Jan. 7th playing 28 minutes and scoring 22pts, but then rested on the second leg of a back-to-back, but appears otherwise healthy again

Zion's hamstring issues may have taken a turn for the worse in recent days as the team has ruled him out indefinitely with a left hamstring strain, at this time there is no timetable for his recovery, expect an extended absence

Despite coming into training camp healthy, Zion's hamstring issues have cropped up as he missed the game on Nov. 3 and is set to start the week listed as questionable, the Pelicans haven't started out the season as well as they'd like so Zion's absence will be sorely missed if he has to miss time

Suffered a left hamstring strain in the final minutes of the April 16 Play-In game. Will be re-evaluated in one week however his return will likely depend on the Pelicans playoff situation and possibility of a return during Round 2 if they can make it.

Severity of the injury is yet to be determined however if the Pelicans win, their next game would be Sunday against the Thunder which is likely too soon for Williamson's hamstring to be ready for.

Left the New Orleans Pelicans play-in tournament game with 3:19 left in a close game, asked to go to bench after making floater - by video analysis nothing serious can be seen on shot and now reported as leg soreness with imaging coming - expect nothing traumatic to be found and for Williamson to be fit to play on Friday

Currently healthy and playing with no health concerns.

Williamson recently had a bone contusion in his left foot which he has now recovered from.
