Exited his last start on July 12 due to a blister on his left index finger, will not start this week...

Returned from the 15-day IL on August 4 after resting since late July due to forearm neuritis. He will build up his pitch count over the first few games back to ensure no further setbacks.

Added to the 15-day IL due to left forearm neuritis. An MRI cleared Fried of any soft-tissue damage however without an official timeline for a return.

Is currently on IL dealing with a lingering blister issue on finger but will be on the Braves Division series roster, yet to be determined if he is indeed one of the series starters but will pitch in playoffs regardless with full effectiveness

Suffered a left forearm strain that forced a stint on the IL, hopefully precautionary as this could be a precursor for Tommy John, underwent TJ surgery back in 2014 meaning Braves will be extra cautious when they roll Fried back out on the mound, expect over a month absence as it will include a slow ramp up before he can return
