Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts was drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft with the
fourth overall pick. His career started well by becoming the first tight end in 50 seasons to have 1,000 receiving yards as a rookie, but his second year was different. Not only did Pitts struggle to have the same production, but he suffered a torn MCL in Week 11.
Even though Pitts is recovering from a knee injury, his fantasy football draft stock is still high. He’s looked at by many fantasy football draft experts as the No. 1 TE to have in dynasty leagues. Also, in PPR leagues, he’s been drafted as TE5.
According to the Pro Football Docs, Pitts’ MCL tear shouldn’t hold his fantasy value back. Pitts has been given a 95 SIC Score for the upcoming season.
With a second year in Falcons HC Arthur Smith’s system, Pitts is on track to have a bounce back season.
Pitts did not participate in OTA’s but is expected to be ready for training camp in July.
With the addition of Bijan Robinson and Jonnu Smith, the Falcons’ offense should provide Pitts more space to show off his unique skill set.
The time is now to bet on Pitts bouncing back in fantasy football.
