Otto Porter Jr. pulled himself out of Sunday's Game 3 with 9:10 left in the second quarter after appearing to aggravate a left foot injury.
Otto Porter Jr. Injury Update
The Athletic's Anthony Slater and NBA on TNT's Allie LaForce reported that Porter Jr. underwent x-rays.
He was ruled out of the contest mid-way through the third quarter with left foot soreness after testing out the injury during halftime.
Porter Jr. was visibly grimacing and grabbing for his left foot after scoring a basket in the second quarter. He called for a substitute, bringing in defensive wing Juan Toscano-Anderson before he went back to the locker room with the medical staff.
The 28-year-old missed Game 6 of the Warriors' series against the Grizzlies with right foot soreness after leaving their Game 5 loss at halftime.
He has missed time over the last two seasons with left foot soreness, a lingering symptom of a small fracture he suffered in December 2019 that kept him out for four months in the 2019-20 season.
Porter Jr. is a key member of Golden State's slimming wing rotation. Rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody have seen spot time in the rotation and figure to play more if Porter Jr. misses the rest of the contest.
