For three season’s the publicly documented ProFootballDoc five weekly picks record of 59% and +45 units ATS lived elsewhere. Now it is back home where it belongs. This is one of our best features and it is free. To get this info earlier including prop plays and exotics, sign up here.
By using the health advantages from Sports Injury Central field views, last year this feature was 51-15-4 (+16 against the spread) in our five weekly regular season picks mimicking the Circa and Westgate Superbook contests.
Our Week 1 picks finished 3-2 giving us a positive start to the campaign.
One win is already in the books with Vikings +7. That was placed and written about ahead of the line movement as we anticipated the Eagles defensive woes ahead of Thursday.
Here are the other four to complete the week.
Follow up each week at sicscore.com or follow us on Twitter @SICscore for our ATS/Totals picks of the week as we plan to continue our winning ways for a fourth straight season.
Baltimore goes into Week 2 one of the if not thee most injured team in the NFL. Atop of the defensive injuries going into Week 1 (Marlon Humphrey, Damarion Williams and Tyus Bowser) now add free safety Marcus Williams who tore his pec and will miss time. Offensively, they will be without LT Ronnie Stanley and C Tyler Linderbaum who are arguably their top two O-Lineman. Joe Burrow and Co will expect to right the ship after a first week loss and should take advantage of a porous Ravens defense. To make matters worse, the Ravens will be without J.K. Dobbins once again as he will miss the season due to a torn Achilles.
After stunning the defending champions on opening night, the Lions go into Week 2 with a stunning advantage on both ends of the field due to the large number of Seahawks nursing injuries. Jamal Adams will again miss while Jordyn Brooks and Devin Witherspoon will play through issues but will not be 100%. The new concerns are on the offensive line with the bookend tackles (LT and RT) both sidelined. Aidan Huthinson should dominate on defense while the Lions offense should operate swimmingly due to key Seahawk defenders either out or hampered.
The Cardinals offense will carry low offensive SIC scores for the majority of the season due to Kyler Murray but new issues have arose ahead of Week 2. James Conner is nursing a calf issue and although off the report we at sicscore.com hold concerns he will be limited on gameday. Defensively new issues have come up late in week specifically the soft tissue injury to key defender Budda Baker. The 14.9 SIC score differential between the two teams is enough to auto pick the Giants. Look for both Andrew Thomas and Darren Waller to push through their hamstring injuries on Sunday.
Both teams go into the game with two similar attributes - OL concerns and relatively healthy defenses. This spells under according to our algorithm and this begins with the major concerns on the Patriots O-Line. Both bookend tackles are out and the RG Mike Onwenu who missed last week due to an ankle injury may mis his second straight game. The LG and C will play through their respective injuries but with ALL 5 OL hampered it will be hard to generate an effective offense. Dolphins will either suit up an ineffective Terron Armstead or sit him - regardless this will affect them on offense with a healthy Matthew Judon looking to take advantage. Each team will likely struggle to score on Sunday Night Football.
