The 28-year-old also clocked the fastest pitch of his career, according to statcast, a 101.4 MPH fastball to end the fourth inning.Ohtani has worked through multiple injuries this season without missing a start, including a groin strain, back soreness, and back-to-back foot contusions from a comebacker and a foul ball in late August.
